Andy C – Bass & Backing Vocals
Andy brings a wealth of experience to ROCKET. Starting his professional career playing with Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) on the Tattooed Millionaire album and world tour, he has gone on to record and perform live internationally with a wide range of artists including Shakespeare’s Sister, Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), Go West and Belinda Carlisle.
Andy’s bass playing can be heard on the last album by Jane MacDonald ‘Jane’ and the Chris Moyles Parody Album recorded in the legendary Abbey Road Studio 2. When not playing with ROCKET, he still tours and records with the classic 80’s band ABC, including a recent performance at the Royal Albert Hall with the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Rewind Festival in Henley.
Andy W – Drums & Backing Vocals
Andy brings his ‘Dave Grohl inspired’ dynamic drumming and relentless groove to every ROCKET performance, as well as his strong backing vocals. Andy has performed with a number of bands over the years, mostly rock and pop in style, but most hilariously with comedienne Joan Rivers! Recently he has been playing internationally with iconic 70-80’s star Adam Ant, including a performance at Rewind Scotland to 15,000 people!
Apart from laying down the solid back beat for ROCKET, Andy also plays guitar, writes and produces his own music with the bands Freshman and Harwood. Playing Mapex drums and Paiste cymbals exclusively, he’s always well prepared for every rock show!
